Gnosticism is the specific pre-Christian syncretic movement of the later Hellenic world, fusing Judaism, Greek philosophy, and Alexandrian Hermeticism. This group is sponsored by the Apostolic Johannite Church, a Gnostic organization that follows this tradition. This group will explore Gnosticism and pursue the realization of gnosis through communal centering prayer, shared sacraments and the study of history, philosophy and Gnostic scripture, most notably the Nag Hammadi Library. If you are interested in learning more about this esoteric Christian tradition please join us. Peace to you in the light of gnosis.

My name is Rev. Deacon Anthony Silvia. I am the Rector for the Parish of St. Sarah the Egyptian and I am a student at the St. Raphael the Archangel Theological Seminary of the Apostolic Johannite Church. I hope to be ordained as a Gnostic Priest within the next few years and serve Gnosticism and the AJC here in New England.
